2023 National Underclass West Showcase
Evan Hanish is a 2025 C/RHP, 1B, 3B, OF with a 6-0 177 lb. frame from Scottsdale, AZ who attends Pinnacle. Solid, physical build with athletic traits and size. Ran a 7.49 in the sixty. Catcher, shorter in crouch with a quicker transfer. Gains ground and shows well to the bag, solid on-line throws. Good arm strength. Also showed well in outfield and infield drills. Shorter arm action with good carry to the bag. Proper technique all around and has good direction to either side. Accuracy stood out. Right-handed hitter, upright stance with teoe tap taming and high back elbow. Solid hands and some separation when squared. Good strength to all fields, works the barrel out front. Strong set of hands on a slightly lofted path. Uses size well in the box along with his defensive versatility. Very good student.
