Noah Rickerds is a 2023 OF/RHP with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Clermont, FL who attends South Lake. On the mound he has a compact delivery and stays on line through the catcher through the process, a long arm swing is followed by a quick arm stroke that is over the top. Fastball was up to 81 and had some sink on it occasionally, really worked bottom of the zone. In the outfield he takes good angels to the ball and shows off that arm speed again with a shorter arm action this time. The throws were downhill and online with some intent behind it. In the box he shows a clean, smooth swing with a tight rotational bat path. Found a lot of barrels and stays through the ball well, has a little natural loft and when he gets stronger the ball will start taking off. Outstanding student.
