Joshua Priest is a 2027 OF/IF with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from San Diego, CA who attends La Jolla Country Day School. Recorded a 6.73 second 60-yard dash time. Compact frame with lots of strength, twitch present. Primary outfielder with very athletic actions and charges the ball with intent. Fields off to the side and crow hops well into the release. Throws over the top and recorded up to 83 mph into the infield. Ball comes out really well with good carry and accuracy. Right-handed hitter with an even base, high hand set, and high back elbow. Explosive bat speed and can lift the ball well to the middle of the field. On time and drives it well to all parts. Barrel ability really stands out in game too. Great student. Named to the 2023 14u PG Select Festival.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
