Jacob Owens is a 2027 SS/RHP with a 5-4 120 lb. frame from Medway, MA who attends Medway. Works from a smaller frame with present athleticism. Primary shortstop, good internal clock, some lateral range, intriguing arm speed, recorded arm strength up to 77 mph. Secondary right-handed pitcher, abbreviated wind-up, easy operation, works at a deliberate pace, loose whippy arm stroke, fastball showed some arm side run and topped at 69 mph. Landed slurvy breaking ball for strikes. Will add velocity with added strength, projects well as an arm. Right-handed hitter, starts with a closed stance, tight hands, tons of hand speed, produced several line drives to the middle of the field, good feel for the barrel, recorded an exit velocity of 69 mph. Ran an 8.87 sixty-yard dash.
