Luke Sheridan is a 2024 SS/RHP with a 5-9 140 lb. frame from Spring, TX who attends Grand Oaks. Smaller frame with a young build. Ran a 7.75 second 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, clean footwork around the dirt, gets to the spot well and works with solid direction, longer gather and release but projectable arm across. Similar look in the outfield, plays under control and will improve carry on throws with added arm strength. Pitched as well, good rhythm to the delivery and shows good pace, mixed three pitches with good control, fastball comes out clean, curveball has 11-to-5 shape and changeup fades off the arm side well. Right-handed hitter, even base with a high back elbow in setup; shorter swing, stays compact and works uphill through the zone, solid bat speed and can adjust the barrel well, stays within himself and will project with added strength. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
