Nicholas Martinez is a 2025 SS/RHP, LHP, 2B, 3B, BHP with a 5-8 120 lb. frame from Hialeah, FL who attends Hialeah Educational Academy. Recorded a 7.21 60-yard. Primary shortsop with a wiry frame. Moved well in the dirt with good lateral range and angles to the ball. Made outs and showed a solid arm with accuracy across the diamond. Right-handed hitter and starts from a narrow basee with a high hand set. Showed good barrel control and regularyl sent line drives to the middle of the field. Utilizes quick hands and stays on an inside bat path, rotating the hips well. Secondary right-handed pitcher and employed a nice tempo to his delivery with coil prior to release. Takes a shorter stride and uses a compact arm action. Repeated the operation well and ran the fastball up to 77 mph, working effectively in on right-handed hitters. Also showed feel to land a curveball for strikes. Excellent student.
