Andrew Rice is a 2027 OF/RHP, 3B, UT with a 6-1 160 lb. frame from Cumming, GA who attends Denmark. Large, square shouldered frame with present strength on build and additional room to fill throughout. Ran an 8.04 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, moves to the ball and attacks with good energy, shorter steps through the ball, maintains momentum into release, tight and compact arm action on throws, front side tends to go early in release. Glove plays at the ball in the dirt, corner profile, moved well to glove side with balance, makes the plays, gets uphill with release at times. Right-handed hitter, begins with an even stance and a high hand set and back elbow at the plate; utilizes a heel lift trigger with some pre-pitch movement to hands. Short and compact swing path, keeps hands inside the ball, incorporates physical strength into swing. Recorded an 85 mph exit velocity in test, can unlock even more strength with extension out front, occasionally gets to his front side early, shows ability to go the other way. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
