Neal Porter is a 2025 SS/RHP, 2B, 3B with a 5-8 135 lb. frame from Tallahassee, FL who attends Lawton Chiles. Recorded a 7.19 second 60-yard dash time. Primary shortstop with a medium frame and slender build. Fundamentally sound infielder with a solid gather out front and throws across the diamond at 76 mph. Works through the ball with quick feet and momentum into throws from young developing frame. Secondary right-handed pitcher with a side step to a higher lift and high slot release point getting down the slope. Lands slightly open with a short arm circle behind that fills up the zone with a fastball up to 79 mph. Athletic delivery with a curveball around 67 mph and a knuckleball at 58 mph that he showed the ability to land for strikes. Right-handed hitter with a square base and high back elbow stance. Developing bat speed with rotational bat path through the zone and barrel awareness in the box. Good Student. Named to the National Underclass Southeast Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
