Owen Noonan is a 2024 SS/RHP/2B with a 5-7 140 lb. frame from Fort Mill, SC who attends Catawba Ridge. Slender young build with lots of time and room to get stronger. 7.73 runner, got very good jumps to the ball in the middle infield on defense, showed range in the games and had nice glove work while on the move, charges the ball well too and makes accurate throws from a low throwing slot. Has skills defensively that will keep improving as he gains more strength and speed. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread bent knee stance with a late lift and replace leg load, short middle of the field line drive swing with contact to all fields, leg lift will leave him off timing at times. Also pitched, has simple turn and throw mechanics with some lower half drop and drive to the plate, compact arm action. Low 70's fastball with a soft curveball. Excellent student.
