Douglas Davis is a 2027 C/RHP, OF with a 5-10 138 lb. frame from Las Vegas, NV who attends Undecided. Features a slender build with room to add. Ran a 7.92 60-yard dash. Worked out in the outfield and behind the plate. Showcased a patient approach in the outfield. Caught the ball fairly consistently. Arm strength should come later down the line. Uses a side saddle setup behind the plate. Throws with plenty of intent. Still refining fluidity out of the crouch. Was accurate with most throws. Right-handed hitter. Utilizes an open stance with a wider base. A simple load allows for good balance. Swings on a linear path with good extension out front. Approach stays through the middle of the field. More power will come as the frame adds strength. Right-handed pitcher. Utilizes a full windup delivery into tall and fall mechanics down the mound. Throws from a 3/4 slot with a long arm action. The fastball got up to 73 mph. Was around the zone often with the offering. Paired it with a curveball at 60-63 mph with downward action. Still developing confidence in the offering.
