Bartolo Rodriguez is a 2022 MIF with a 6-1 160 lb. frame from Parlin, NJ who attends Sayreville War Memorial. Long and slender young build with plenty of room to get stronger. Right handed hitter, hits from a slightly open stance, has a long and loose swing with good extension through contact, fluid swing, barreled the ball up consistently to the middle of the field, type of swing that will really grow with additional strength to drive his bat speed. 7.50 runner in the sixty. Has good footwork in the middle infield, stays balanced and behind the ball, throws from an over the top arm slot and makes accurate throws. Took a turn on the mound, has the same over the top arm action from a full wind up, threw strikes with a fastball that topped out at 78 mph, also threw a mid-60's curveball. Good student.
