Alberto Searles is a 2024 OF/RHP with a 5-8 132 lb. frame from Marietta, GA who attends South Cobb. Compact and lean frame with room to fill throughout his build. Ran a 7.32 second 60 yard dash. Primary outfielder, worked out at the position charging the baseball quickly, shuffles into his release with good footwork and a long arm action, ball comes from a 3/4 arm slot, arm strength is still developing. Secondary righthanded pitcher, starts his delivery with a rocker step up to a high leg lift, full arm and rotates up early into a high ¾ arm slot, fastball is straight and topped out at 69 mph, did gain velocity as his outing progressed. Righthanded hitter, sets up at the plate with a narrow and open stance, toe tap trigger into his swing, wraps bat slightly at load, creates a downhill plane to contact, will continue to add pop off of the barrel with additional lower half involvement.
