2022 PG Underclass All-American Games
Beau Hollins is a 2024 1B/LHP with a 6-4 215 lb. frame from Lexington, SC who attends River Bluff High School. Big and strong athletic build. Primary first baseman on defense, moves well for his size and has fluid defensive actions, nice glove work, spins well with an idea on his footwork, will be an asset defensively. Switch-hitter at the plate. Hits under control from the left side with a long and strong swing, gets extended well, was well timed in the games and made consistent hard pull side contact, saw the ball well and didn't expand the zone. Didn't get a chance to swing right handed in the games but showed a nice strong right handed swing in BP, shorter to the ball than from the left side, ball came off the bat hard, steeper path than left handed and top spun many balls. Definite switch-hitter in the future. Excellent student, verbal commitment to South Carolina. Named to the PG Underclass All-American Games Top Prospect List.
