2022 WWBA Summer Workout Showcase (July 19)
Braxton Stegall is a 2026 1B/RHP, 3B with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Rockmart, GA who attends Darlington. Ran a 8.37 second sixty. Primary first baseman with a taller frame showing some projectability moving forward. Receives the ball deep on the body with two hands at first base. Showed developing arm strength with accurate throws showing developing footwork on the feeds to second base. Showed a lot of the same infield mechanics on the infield as at first base. Arm strength will get better with added strength and maturity moving forward. Right-handed hitter, bends at the waist with an even base in the stance. Keeps the barrel very linear through the hitting zone with limited bat speed as he impacted the ball on the inner half mostly.
