2021 WWBA Workout Showcase (July 22)
Carson Moody is a 2024 OF/RHP, IF with a 6-2 170 lb. frame from West Jordan, UT who attends Riverton HS. Recorded a 7.16 second 60-yard dash time. Strong build with broad shoulders and room to project. Primary outfielder with a shorter arm action and athleticism to movements. Hands work well with intent at release and throws recorded up to 83 mph from an over the top slot. Left-handed hitter with a big stride forward and a slightly open stance. Has big power with an unorthodox lower half. Gets the ball into the air and carries well. Power potential evident but will need to tweak mechanics a bit moving forward. Great student.
