Sebastian Garcia is a 2022 SS/RHP, 2B, 3B with a 5-9 130 lb. frame from North Hills, CA who attends Birmingham. Developing build that stands to drastically improve as he progresses, posted a 7.13 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary infielder, stays in front of the ball well and moves well when coming in on the ball. Range up the middle is strong and he shows an ability to throw from multiple slots. On the mound, he has a short arm action from a three-quarters arm slot. Strong drop and drive actions with good direction to the plate. Occasional downward angle on his 70-72 mph fastball. Also mixes in a 10-to-5 shaped breaking ball. At the plate, is a switch hitter with an upright stance and leg lift then drop and stride trigger from the right side. Slightly elevated plane with present bat speed through the zone. Uses more of a conventional toe tap trigger from the left side and stays more front loaded with his linear weight shift. Right side feels more natural but solid barrel control on both sides. Good student in the classroom as well.
