Andrew Milner is a 2022 LHP/1B with a 6-4 165 lb. frame from Eau Claire, WI who attends Eau Claire North. Long, lanky build with room to fill out. Ran a 8.25 second sixty-yard dash. Primary left handed pitcher. Employs a small side step to belt high leg lift staying tall at gather going to drop and drive actions down the mound. Lands online with the plate and stays online with the plate through finish getting extended out front well. Showed a long, loose arm action going to a three-quarter slot at release with good arm speed. Features a two pitch mix thrown for strikes consistently. Showed a fastball with good feel for the zone creating early, soft contact at 75 mph, complemented by a 1/7 breaking ball with big depth and looser break creating swing and miss when thrown in the zone at 61 mph. Also worked out defensively at first base. Displayed deliberate actions working to and through the baseball with confident glove actions. Showed clean transfers into throws with good arm strength and accurate carry across the diamond topping out at 74 mph. Left handed hitter. Employs an upright stance with a toe tap trigger. Uses a rotational approach with a natually elevated barrel plane looking to drive the ball to and through the gaps on the pull side. Displayed good bat speed with the ability to work the barrel out front creating loud contact to the pull side when on time and squared. Great student.
