Gabriel Gruenewald is a 2021 OF/UT with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends Strake Jesuit College Prep. Medium athletic build with room to fill out as he continues to develop. Primary outfielder, moves well and is able to cover a ton of territory in the outfield. Fields off to the side and breaks it down hard. Longer arm action, throws stay on line to all bags. Good arm with some carry to the plate. At the plate, uses a conventional and upright stance with a low hanging leg lift load. Handsy overall foundation, short and quick hands through the zone. Raw pop that will continue to develop nicely alongside his build. Excellent student in the classroom as well.
