Joey Caruso is a 2023 SS/2B with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Collierville, TN who attends Collierville. Medium frame with a lean, athletic type build showing some room to fill out down the road. Ran a 7.18 second sixty yard dash. Primary Shortstop, showing a quick first step as he works to and through the baseball with rhythm. Gathers out front and shuffles into throws. Young arm strength while being accurate to the bag throwing it 76 mph during drills. Left-Handed Hitter, narrow to start as he flashes very little stride while balanced at all times. Short, linear swing path as he was quick to get the bat head through the zone. Looks to spray the baseball on a line to all fields. Great Student.
