Ryan Walsh is a 2025 OF/RHP with a 5-10 172 lb. frame from Bethel Park, PA who attends Bethel Park. Solid athletic build with good strength for his age and plenty more to come. Left handed hitter, hits from a straight stance with a heel lift load and not stride, limited load, can improve his lower half use to drive his swing, upper body rotational swing, showed good barrel control with line drive contact to all fields, can improve quickly with adjustments that use his strength in creating bat speed. 7.20 runner in the sixty. Has a long and whippy arm action in the outfield with good arm strength and carry. Took a turn on the mound, showed good balance over the rubber and sound simple mechanics. Fastball topped out at 84 mph, showed a good young ability to get his fastball to both sides of the plate and throw strikes, gets glove side cutting action at times. Still developing feel for his curveball release. Very good student. Named to the Great Lakes Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
