Tyler Kane is a 2022 RHP/MIF, OF with a 5-8 145 lb. frame from Manalapan, NJ who attends Manalapan. Medium frame with slender, athletic build; ran 40 yard dash in 5.07 seconds. Graded out best on the mound in this event, works from the stretch, deliberate pace to delivery, quick and loose arm stroke to three quarters slot, fastball worked 80-83 mph with cutting life, showed curveball with short tilt that he lands for strikes, also flashed a changeup. Hits from relaxed stance with compact overall swing, whole-field approach, hands work a little inside, middle-opposite field approach with good linear jump when square. Worked out in the outfield, moves through the ball well, fields cleanly and transfers quickly, clocked up to 84 mph on throws. Excellent student, named to 2020 Northeast Indoor Top Prospect List.
