Matthew Hall is a 2025 OF/RHP, 1B, 3B, UT with a 6-2 170 lb. frame from Tampa, FL who attends Jefferson. He showed plus speed with a 6.71 second sixty. A primary outfielder with a long wiry frame. In the outfield he waits back on the ball with deliberate actions as eh bends at the waist receiving the ball, the arm works long through the back up to a higher release with developing arm strength. On the mound he starts with a side step up to a belt high leg lift as the arm works to a high three-quarters arm slot with good extension out front as eh stays on line working down the mound. The fastball sat 75-79 mph with flashes of cutting action as he landed it arm side a good bit and paired it with a curveball showing 11-5 shape with young spin traits. Right-handed hitter, he showed some barrel control with the strength in his hands driving through the ball well to the middle of the field with solid bat speed. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
