Andrew Miehe is a 2023 RHP/1B, OF with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from Corona Del Mar, CA who attends St. Margaret's Episcopal. Large frame with an already filling out build showing physical strength throughout the frame. Ran a 7.11 second sixty yard dash. Primary Right-Handed Pitcher, working with a side-step to a belt high lift. Shorter arm circle in the back and then released from a three-quarter slot. Slight crossfire in the delivery as he generated a naturally tough angle. Pounded the strike zone with a four pitch mix. Fastball up to 85 mph with arm side run and shows plenty more velocity down the road. Mixed in a very sharp 11-to-5 breaking ball that is swing and miss type stuff. Flashed feel for a sweeping slider and a solid tumbling changeup. Huge upside on the mound showing. Secondary First Baseman, working quickly into the baseball as he gathers with confidence. Young footwork showing but big time arm strength as he threw it with accuracy across the diamond. Fits the first base profile well. Right-Handed Hitter, starting narrow and balanced. No load as he works into stride. Throws hands at the baseball while working with an uphill swing path. Proved to have some power to the pull-side when he got extended. Outstanding Student. Named to California Workout Camp Top Prospect List.
