Blake Oesterblad is a 2020 RHP/ with a 6-4 190 lb. frame from Chicago, IL who attends Loyola Academy. Extra large frame with a solid build and present strength. Frame projects well on the mound with long limbs. Primary righthanded pitcher working exclusively from the stretch. Leg lift above the belt landing closed off down the mound and creating some cross fire actions. Long takeaway hiding the ball well and into a three-quarter arm slot. Commands the fastball well with heavy life through the zone topping out at 85 MPH. Mixes in a solid slider with sharp and late bit. Changeup gets down well with depth through the zone. Body projects for more velocity. Good student as well.
