Caleb Lynn is a 2027 RHP/SS/OF with a 5-9 150 lb. frame from Garner, NC who attends Cleveland. Medium current build with lean muscularity with a lot of time to mature. Ran the 60 yard dash in a very impressive 6.79 seconds. Primary position RHP, using full windup with an offset start from the 1B side of the rubber. Free flowing leg lift to just above the belt and separates hands there as well and works into full slightly offline arm path. Loads arm well and works through high 3/4 arm angle. Slight tilt with torso in transition but gets to foot strike with good posture. Quick easy arm, living in the low-80s with the FB that peaked at 83 mph several times. Hard downer CB with advanced spin traits for this class, landed breaker for strikes often and generated plenty of swing and miss. High level understanding of sequencing, projects very well in this spot. Reps on the IF and OF as well, showing good athleticism and working methodically through plays. Solid glove work and covers ground in both spots. Foot work puts him in good position to show off his arm, up to 80 mph across the diamond and flashed an 84 from the outfield accurately. LHH starting from a narrower and slightly open stance. Tilted shoulder setup with high hands and back elbow to begin process. Obvious hand strength and upper level bat head feel, consistently squaring balls up and launching especially to the pull side. Moves in to contact well and really excelled in game action. Collected several extra base hits and drove balls through the gap and over outfielders heads. Handled the heater as well as off speed pitches, uncanny ability to keep barrel in the zone when necessary. Stood out in all aspects of the game, big time follow in the immediate future. Should go off the board recruiting wise as soon as he wants to.
