Kawan Ellerbe James is a 2022 SS/2B with a 5-5 130 lb. frame from Ellenwood, GA who attends Morrow. Young frame with an athletic build showing room to fill out. Ran a 8.01 sixty yard dash. Primary shortstop, worked around the baseball well with good footwork, carries weight through the throw with some accuracy on the throws, flashed a good glove as well, young mechanics in place. Righthanded hitter, worked with a big leg lift then transferring weight forward, high hands with slight upward movement at separation, creates a downhill swing plane with line drive results, likes to use a middle away approach. Great student.
