Justin Olivo is a 2027 1B/RHP, C, 3B with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Garnerville, NY who attends Undecided. Medium, square shouldered frame with present strength and additional room to fill moving forward. Ran a 9.14 60-yard dash. Primary first baseman, works low moving towards the ball, glove plays out front at the ball, funnels cleanly and shows accuracy on throws. Takes short strides moving to the ball in the infield, gets into a good spot fielding, arm strength and carry on throws across will continue to develop. Also pitched, methodical tempo to delivery, stays short with arm action through the backside working up to a three-quarters release point. Fastball topped out at 74 mph, occasional cut action from release and showed ability to get to both halves of the plate, will continue to refine a consistent release point; flashed a curveball at 57 mph with short tilt. Right-handed hitter, begins with a high hand set and back elbow at the plate, utilizes a hover leg lift trigger for timing in the box. Upper body dominant swing, keeps hands inside the baseball and shows some strength when squared; showed best bat speed towards end of round, can unlock additional strength with more lower half implemented, best contact when working on a linear plane.
