Lucca Pascarella is a 2024 C/RHP with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Fayetteville, NC who attends Cape Fear. Well developed projectable frame with present strength and some twitch to his actions. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.25 seconds. Primary position C, using game like actions in his workout reps. Good flexibility and mobility in his lower-half. Clean glove work to transfer and gains some ground with his footwork. Strong and compact arm action, working well for him here with very accurate feeds up to 76 mph with a pop-time best 2.02 seconds. LHH working from an even and wider stance with good hands showing pre-pitch rhythm. Gets the barrel out early with his strong hands but showed best impact when he let the ball travel a touch. Nice extension and the ball gets off the barrel in a hurry, real power projection here. All the skills here to be a strong, offensive catcher and should garner plenty of interest in the coming months. Tremendous student as well.
