Reid Uccello is a 2024 SS/2B/3B with a 5-11 183 lb. frame from Medford, NJ who attends Shawnee. Recorded a 5.03 second forty-yard dash time. Medium, high waisted frame with athletic look and plenty of room to add strength. Primary middle-infielder that displayed smooth, fluid actions throughout the fielding process and good arm strength up to 79 mph across the diamond. Shows ability to range well laterally to either side, working downhill through the baseball with clean glove actions and quick transfers. Left-handed hitter that hits from a balanced, open stance with high hand set, high back elbow and hover trigger. Controlled swing mechanics with good balance and extension through contact. Gap-to-Gap approach with loose, quick hands and the propensity to find the barrel often. Displayed consistency throughout batting practice, while translating the swing well into game action.
