Levi Nickoli is a 2026 SS/RHP/3B with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Birmingham, AL who attends Homewood. Long and lean athletic build with square shoulders and lots of physical projection ahead. Switch-hitter, hits from an open stance from the left side with a long and loose swing, will have some barrel whip as he gets stronger, good left handed base to build from. Right handed swing is shorter with a high still hand start and an inside swing path, more a rotational swing, has some right handed hand speed. 6.97 runner in the sixty, uses his speed aggressively on the bases. Primary middle infielder on defense, has athletic actions through the ball, good hands and exchange with a quick release on his throws, still developing consistency in his footwork and glove position but will keep improving due to his athleticism. Took a turn on the mound, has a compact arm action that hides the ball well and a tight high 3/4's to over the top arm slot. Fastball worked up to 82 mph, mostly straight. Showed good tight spin with good arm speed on his curveball, still developing consistency on this pitch. Flashed a change up as well. Nice all around athlete who projects very well in all areas.
