Andrew Carter is a 2020 C/OF with a 5-10 180 lb. frame from Montgomery, TX who attends Montgomery HS. Recorded a 7.36 second 60-yard dash time. Medium build with some strength present and room for projection. Primary catcher with solid hands and a longer transition. Clean release with arm strength recorded up to 72 mph. Secondary outfielder with deliberate actions and a longer arm stroke. Fields off to the side and throws from a higher arm slot. Lefthanded hitter with a lower hand set and a wide stance. Quick hands through the zone with some present bat speed. Engages lower half nicely and works through the hitting zone well. Power will improve with additional extension out in front. Good student.
