Will Roan III is a 2025 C/RHP, OF, UT with a 5-9 165 lb. frame from Fayetteville, GA who attends Whitewater. Recorded a 7.34 second 60-yard dash time. Primary catcher with a medium frame and strong lower-half build. Traditional setup and stance behind the plate with a clean exchange on throws. Developing arm strength with a quick release on throws for a solid pop time to the bag. Solid actions during games with a ability to handle a pitching staff. Secondary right-handed pitcher with a full arm swing to a 3/4 slot delivery. Fastball up to 77 mph (2182 RPM) with natural cut from a closed landing down the slope. Featured a curveball in mid-60s (1928 RPM) as a secondary offering. Works from the first base side of the rubber with a move to the third base of the rubber as a means to control the strike zone at a better rate with natural cut action on his pitch package. Made throws to the bases from the outfield working to the ball with inline momentum and accuracy at 79 mph. Right-handed hitter with a slightly open base and high hands setup in the box. Athletic swing with strength in the hands. Stays connected with the lower-half releasing the backside through contact. Controls the barrel through the zone with projectable impact moving forward. Excellent student. Named to the Southeast Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.
