Samari Robinson is a 2023 OF/RHP with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Cary, NC who attends Green Level. Medium athletic build with plenty of room to fill out and get stronger. Good runner, 7.05 in the sixty. Has athletic actions in the outfield and shows good arm strength without any real footwork, young actions through the ball that will improve with coaching and repetitions. Right handed hitter, big shoulder turn creates length and timing issues, gets into his hips well and creates some raw bat speed, hard mid field line drive contact when he is timed and impacting the ball out front. Also pitched, slow paced delivery with a full arm circle and loose arm action, 3/4's arm slot. Fastball topped out at 80 mph with good arm side running life. Threw a nice slider with a late break that he located well on the glove side, took off on his slider a couple of times with good 11/5 depth. Good athlete who will keep improving with coaching and additional strength. Very good student.
