Zach Johnson is a 2024 SS/MIF, OF with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Canton, GA who attends Sequoyah. Medium frame with a strong lower half present. Ran a 7.43 second sixty yard dash. Primary Shortstop, staying down as he works to and through the baseball with athletic actions. Clean gather out front and works into a quick transfer. Accurate across the diamond as he threw it 71 mph. Will make big strides as the build matures. Right-Handed Hitter, spread out to start as the bat gets vertical upon striding out. Longer swing path as the weight falls back a bit. Pull-side approach as he looked to get extended and drive it. Relies on the upper half to generate bat speed. Great Student.
