Kelvin Kendrick is a 2020 OF/ with a 6-3 160 lb. frame from Montgomery, AL who attends Alabama Christian Academy. Long, lanky build with present athleticism and room for added strength. Ran a 6.80 second sixty-yard dash. Worked out defensively as a primary outfielder. Flashed deliberate, athletic actions working to and through the baseball in the outfield with smooth footwork. Fields to the side of the baseball with confident glove actions and clean transfers into throws with good arm strength topping out at 79 MPH from the outfield. Switch hitter. Employs an even stance with a toe tap trigger from the right side. Flashed a compact hand path staying inside the baseball well. Keeps weight loaded on backside well with rotational lower half actions. From the left side employs a even stance with a toe tap trigger. More consistently driven line drive contact from the left side. Showed the ability to drive the ball to and through the gaps in the outfield when on time and squared. Great student.
