Ran a 6.95 60-yard dash. Primary first baseman, fields the ball out front with two hands, works into a short and compact arm action, works on top of throws and shows nice carry across the diamond, funnels into midline. Aggressive towards the ball in the outfield with quick feet, solid arm strength on throws, extra steps moving into release. Also pitched, back turn at start of delivery, rotational coming down the mound; compact arm action through the back working to a three-quarters release point, low effort release and ran fastball up to 93 mph. Creates angle to fastball, mixed a short slider up to 79 mph and flashed a changeup at 80 mph. Left-handed hitter, begins with a spread and open stance with a high hand set and back elbow at the plate. Controlled swing and incorporates physical strength into swing very well, able to drive balls deep to pull side. Consistent swing and generates real jump to all parts of the field, shows lift out front at the point of contact; barreled hard contact the other way in live action too. Two-way potential. Excellent student. Verbal commitment to Mississippi State. Named to the 2022 Perfect Game All-American Classic.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
