Jacob Garcia is a 2024 SS/2B with a 5-7 135 lb. frame from Roseville, CA who attends Granite Bay. Medium frame with a young, lean build. Ran a 7.20 second sixty yard dash. Primary Shortstop, showing good first step instincts as he rounded the baseball smoothly showing lateral range. Feel for the glove showing as he scooped it up and worked quickly into transfers. Accurate throws from multiple slots as he threw it 77 mph. Fundamentally sound and will make big strides here as he gains strength. Right-Handed Hitter, starting balanced and in line. Low lift to stride as he creates separation. Looks to stay inside the baseball and drive it on a line back up the middle. Stays linear through the zone as he did a good job staying behind the baseball. Good Student.
