David Abbadessa is a 2020 2B/SS with a 5-7 135 lb. frame from Placentia, CA who attends Esperanza. Compact athletic build. Ran a 7.29 second sixty-yard dash. Worked out defensively as a primary infielder. Flashed confident glove actions working to both sides of the infield including a clean back hand. Displayed good footwork working to and through the baseball to both sides of the infield as well. Flashed good arm strength with accurate carry across the infield topping out at 74 miles per hour. Right handed hitter. Employs an even crouched stance with a small load and clean hand path to the baseball. Showed the ability to get the barrel out getting extended out front well with flashes of power to the pull side. Showed good barrel control creating consistent driven line drives throughout batting practice. Great student.
