Hayden Carson is a 2021 RHP/1B with a 6-1 195 lb. frame from Delray Beach, FL who attends St. Andrew's HS. Athletic build with good present strength, especially in the lower half. High leg lift delivery, gets unbalanced and off direction at times, 3/4's arm slot. Fastball topped out at 78 mph, mostly straight, throws his fastball for strikes and works to contact. Curveball is a good second pitch, has some power to it and also throws it for consistent strikes while keeping it down in the zone. Has an idea what he's doing on the mound and pitches aggressively. Right handed hitter, hits from an upright wide base, long and reaching swing with some lift out front, middle of the field contact. 8.06 runner. Very good student.
