Jared Rodriguez is a 2023 RHP/3B with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from Addison, IL who attends Harvest Christian Academy. Recorded an 8.02 second sixty yard dash time. Compact and sturdy frame. Primary right-handed pitcher, works exclusively from the stretch with a quick-paced delivery, pitches with a lot of energy and utilizes a clean and short arm action that comes through quick. Comes from a three-quarters slot and throws with high intent, fastball has riding life through the zone with occasionally cut action. Flashed a curveball with 11-5 shape, will pop out of the hand at times, displayed pitchability during his outing. Good reliever profile at present. Right-handed hitter with an open stance and an even hand set, utilizes a hover leg lift trigger. Longer bat path with a pull side approach, produced some hard, line drive contact during his round and showed the ability to create lift when getting it out front. Excellent student.
