Robert Hays is a 2022 2B/OF/C with a 5-8 170 lb. frame from Highpoint, NC who attends High Point Central. Strong and compact athletic build. Right handed hitter, loads onto his backside well, good trigger and flow into his swing, hands are strong and work well to the ball, has present bat speed and some carry off the barrel, showed barrel accuracy and made hard contact. 7.30 runner, has easy and smooth athletic actions in the middle infield, compact arm action with a quick release on his throws, positions his body well with good footwork, second base arm strength and makes accurate throws, also plays the outfield. Solid all around player with good present strength and sound fundamentals. Good student.
