Raffaele Rogers is a 2023 SS/2B with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Haddonfield, NJ who attends Bishop Eustace Prep. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and some present strength to frame, additional room to grow. Ran a 7.39 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, anticipates well on approach to the baseball, fields it out front and shows a clean funnel into process, picks the backhand well, shows ability to change slots at release, occasionally gets uphill but athleticism plays in actions and shows arm strength, carry and accuracy on throws across the diamond. Right-handed hitter, begins with an even and wide base with a high hand set and back elbow at the plate, uses a high leg lift trigger for timing in the box. Simple operation in the box and shows both quickness and strength in his hands while working on a mostly linear path through the zone. Swung the bat well in live action, generates nice bat speed through the zone and shows barrel skills with gap-to-gap juice when squared. Excellent student. Named to Mid-Atlantic Top Prospect List.
