Grayson Gibson is a 2025 LHP/1B, OF with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Tampa, FL who attends Calvary Christian. Medium, broad shouldered frame with present physical strength proportioned throughout frame. Ran an 8.29 60-yard dash. Primary left-handed pitcher, begins with a high leg raise at top of delivery with a hip turn, works to a mid to low three-quarters release point, does a nice job of staying online with lower half towards the plate. Fastball topped out at 82 mph, generates occasional big running life with release, worked around the zone well and mixed comfortably throughout. Pitched off of fastball but showed a slider up to 74 mph with short life and a nice changeup at 72 mph with maintained arm speed at release. Repeats delivery and keeps hitters off balance. Fluid actions in the field, sound footwork in the outfield with accurate throws; good athlete around the first base bag, nice fundamentals and pivots well off of the bag, controls body well. Left-handed hitter, begins with a slightly open stance and a high back elbow at the plate. Long and leveraged swing path through the zone, looks to lift at the point of contact and swings with intent, works to all fields and gets the barrel to it, nice power potential.
