Enrique Alvarez Jr is a 2022 1B/LHP/OF with a 6-3 220 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends G. Holmes Braddock. Large frame with present weight and strength to the build. Ran an 8.42 second 60-yard dash. Primary first baseman, fundamental actions and gets going to the bag on throws well, easy turns with accuracy across. Also worked out in the outfield with a slow approach to the ball, loose arm and shows accuracy to bags. Also pitched, worked a three pitch mix from a compact arm action through over the top slot and will improve with improvements fundamentally. Left-handed hitter, sets up wide with high hands and a high back elbow, swings hard and creates some good impact when squared. Great student.
