Diego Garcia is a 2022 OF/RHP/3B with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Hialeah, FL who attends Mater Academy Charter. Medium frame with some strength to the build. Ran a 7.55 second 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, quick first step to the ball, works at it hard with athleticism and tons of intent while showing excellent present arm strength clocked up to 92 mph on his throws. Also worked out in the infield, similar athleticism with good glove work, longer arm stroke and good arm strength. Pitched as well, simple delivery with a crossbody release, gets into his legs well and has a quick arm, fastball shows some life up to 84 mph and threw a short-biting breaking ball as well as a knuckleball. Right-handed hitter, short and compact swing, works level through zone with some bat speed, needs to engage the lower half more but showed some carry to pull when he turned the barrel over.
