Brandt Johnson is a 2026 C/MIF with a 5-3 115 lb. frame from Mt. Wolf, PA who attends Northeastern. Recorded a 9.13 second sixty yard dash time. Small frame with developing strength and plenty of physical development remaining. Primary catcher with a low and balanced set up, stands straight up to start and gains some ground towards second base. Clean operation overall with a quick transfer and release, good mechanical start to build off of. Will improve as he stays low throughout the process. Secondary infielder with a short arm action and high and tight release, fast transfer, gets it out quick. Has an idea of the footwork, fields out front well, will improve as he continues to grow and get stronger. Left-handed hitter with a high hand and back elbow set, is short to the ball and has a high finish. Hits it out front and has a middle to opposite field approach, will chop down into contact at times. Limited bat speed at present, utilizes a toe tap trigger and made consistent contact throughout his round. Will improve as his hands/wrists strengthen and he is able to control the barrel and bat path.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
