Nicholas Casimates is a 2025 RHP/1B/OF with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Rockville, MD who attends Good Counsel High School. Lean athletic build with lots of room to get stronger. Works from the stretch with a controlled leg raise delivery, medium on line arm takeaway, 3/4's arm slot, will occasionally spin off his front side on release, overall has a good rhythm to his operation. Fastball topped out at 78 mph, threw it to spots and got some cutting action arm side. Curveball was a solid second pitch with tight spin and some mostly vertical depth. Was efficient and his stuff played above its velocity. 7.39 runner who plays first base when not on the mound. Right handed hitter, loads back in his load and tends to stay on his back side, opposite field to mid field contact, has the strength to create some barrel jump when he gets the barrel out. Has the pitchability to keep improving if he can get stronger and add velocity. Very good student.
