Colton Biggs is a 2019 RHP/1B/3B with a 6-2 180 lb. frame from Niceville, FL who attends Choctawhatchee HS. Tall and skinny frame with a medium build and room to fill out in the future. Ran a 7.13 60-yard dash. Primary righthanded pitcher. Balanced delivery. Releases the ball from an over the top arm slot. Works down the hill well. Has a slight pause at the top of the arm circle back. Fastball is mostly straight with a heavy look sitting in the upper 70's while topping out at 81 miles per hour. Big 12-to-6 curveball with depth in the low 60's. Also flashed a changeup with a little sink to it. Showed good feel for the off-speed pitch and used it as the put away pitch often. Will throw it to both sides of the plate. Also worked out from the infield. Sits back and fields from deeper funnel and brings it up. Softer carry to the base while remaining accurate across the diamond. Throws topped out at 75 miles per hour. Also worked out from first base. Has good feet when coming off the base to get the ball. Good frame for position. Righthanded hitter with a wide spread stance with good balance throughout swing. Starts with hands high and back and utilizes a toe tap load for timing. Really wraps hands at load. Hands are quick and short to contact. Stays in the middle of the field with a line drive bat path. Good student as well.
