Ethan Clark is a 2021 LHP/1B with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Pearland, TX who attends Glenda Dawson. Medium athletic build with some physical projectability. Compact simple delivery with a compact arm stroke in back coming to a 3/4's arm slot, low effort mechanics and release that he repeats well. Fastball topped out at 72 mph, gets good cutting action at times, works down in the zone consistently and gets ground ball outs. Big breaking slow curveball also is thrown for strikes. 7.40 runner, fairly athletic at first base with developing arm strength. Left handed hitter, hits from a tall narrow stance with a wrapped barrel start. drops his upper body in his load changing his eye level, rotational swing with a short inside swing path. Very good student.
