Mathew Moeller is a 2023 1B/RHP with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Liberty, MO who attends Liberty. Taller athletic build with some present strength and room for more. Right handed hitter, hits from a slightly spread straight stance with a high hand set up, loads his hands deep, long line drive swing, swings hard and flashes some strength at contact, best contact to the pull side. 7.73 runner in the sixty. Primary first baseman on defense, has active feet around the bag and some idea on his footwork fundamentals. Took a turn on the mound, works from the stretch with a belt high leg raise, short stride down through the back, longer arm action. Fastball topped out at 70 mph, mostly straight. Threw both a curveball and a slider and did a good job of throwing all three pitches for strikes.
